Travis had a love for marine life at a very young age. Originally from the Midwest, it was his summers spent at Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium when he realized he wanted to pursue a career that revolved around water. Naturally, he chose SCUBA diving. Travis loves teaching people to become divers and sharing his knowledge of marine life with his students. He and his wife Julie live in Carrollwood along with their three children, Holly, Calvin & Lauren. Some of his favorite dives include Socorro Island, Guadalupe Island and La Paz Mexico.
Jorge started SCUBA diving in 2010 after he retired from the US Army. Originally from Dorado, Puerto Rico where he lived a short walk from the beach he was always passionate about water sports and the sea. Moving to Florida in 2012 gave him the opportunity to be more active with his diving. He holds SCUBA Instructor certifications from PADI, SSI, NAUI, & SDI. Some of his favorite dive destinations include Cozumel, The FL Keys, and of course Puerto Rico.

Sammy started diving at age 14 and has been hooked ever since. Her love of the ocean and marine life led her to earn a B.S. in Marine Biology in 2018. After graduating she completed her Instructor training in Utila, Honduras and instructed on Oahu for over a year before relocating to Tampa and joining the GCD team. Although she is currently attending FSU, she is excited to be staying involved with the dive community remotely and hopes to be back in the water soon. Her favorite dives have been in the Galapagos, Grand Cayman, and Oahu/Big Island, Hawaii.
