This is where it all starts. The SSI Open Water Certification Class will teach you to be a safe and confident SCUBA diver. During this program, you will get to take part in 6 different training sessions consisting of classroom, pool and open water training scenarios. Gulf Coast Divers offers both group and private dive classes to fit your needs.

SPECIALTY DIVER
Take your training to the next level and become a more confident diver. Choose any 2 SSI specialty courses and log 12 total dives and you've just earned the rank of Specialty Diver. As a specialty diver, your opportunities in the water begin to grow and your adventures get a little more radical.
ADVANCED DIVER
Step into the ranks of SCUBA Elite and become an SSI Advanced Open Water Diver. With this certification your exploring knows no limits. You now have the confidence and the ability to take on any dive that comes your way. This Certification is achieved with a total of 4 SSI specialty courses and 24 logged dives. You are now only 1 step away from SCUBA Supremacy.
MASTER DIVER
Congratulations, you've just acheived SCUBA Royalty. Beginning divers are not worthy to stand in your prescence. Poseidon himself is extremely jealous. Wish this were true? It can be. With a total of 5 SSI Specialty courses including Stress & Rescue, and 50 logged dives, you my friend, are a Master of your own Universe, and you have the certification to prove it.
